PC Airflow & Static Pressure
Cooling Simulator
Model your chassis fan setup. Calculate net volumetric flow (CFM), identify positive vs negative air pressure imbalances, and prevent dust build-up and GPU thermal throttling.
⚙️ Fan Configuration & Radiators
Intake exceeds exhaust by ~25 CFM. Filtered air will bleed naturally outward from rear PCI slots, preventing dust vacuum suction.
The Thermodynamics of Case Fan Static Pressure vs Airflow
High-end gaming rigs equipped with modern GPUs (RTX 4080 / 4090 / RX 7900 XTX) can exhaust upwards of 350 to 450 Watts of heat directly into your PC chassis. Without an optimized static pressure flow curve, hot air pools inside the GPU shroud, causing VRM and VRAM junction temperatures to thermal throttle.
Many PC builders mistakenly assume that more exhaust fans equal cooler temps. In reality, a heavy negative pressure bias pulls ambient room dust through PCIe brackets, front IO ports, and power supply cavities, quickly clogging radiator fins and increasing operating temperatures over time.
