Frequently Asked Questions
What are the exact image size requirements for Twitch emotes?
Twitch manual emote mode requires three transparent PNG square images: 28x28 px (for mobile and standard chat), 56x56 px (for high-DPI retina displays), and 112x112 px (for large desktop chat). File sizes must stay under 1MB each.
What sizes are required for Twitch and Kick subscriber badges?
Twitch and Kick sub loyalty badges require three square PNG files: 18x18 px, 36x36 px, and 72x72 px. All badges should have transparent backgrounds and sharp borders.
How does this tool keep small 28px and 18px images sharp?
Our client-side canvas engine applies multi-pass downscaling and subtle edge contrast sharpening to prevent the blurry, washed-out look typical of basic browser image compression.
