โšก Magnetic Hall Effect Switches

Rapid Trigger Sensitivity & Reset Dyno

Analyze how 0.1mm dynamic reset points eliminate mechanical hysteresis. Compare traditional mechanical switches (Cherry MX 2.0mm reset) against continuous magnetic Hall Effect sensors.

The instant the key moves upwards by this delta, the switch instantly deactivatesโ€”regardless of travel depth.

๐Ÿ’ก Counter-Strafing Advantage (Valorant / CS2):Traditional mechanical keys force you to release the key all the way past the 2.0mm fixed reset point before you can initiate counter-movement. Rapid Trigger cuts dead recovery time to near zero the instant your finger eases pressure.

๐Ÿ“– Mechanical Hysteresis vs Hall Effect Magnetic Switches

In traditional mechanical switches (Cherry MX Red/Blue/Brown), a physical metal leaf contact snaps shut when pressed down and snaps open on release. Because of mechanical physics and debouncing filters, there is a physical gap called hysteresisโ€”the reset point sits 0.5mm to 1.0mm above the actuation point.

Hall Effect keyboards (such as the Wooting 60HE, Razer Huntsman V3 Pro, and SteelSeries Apex Pro) use a permanent neodymium magnet inside each switch stem and a magnetic sensor on the PCB. The PCB continuously reads analog magnetic flux, enabling Rapid Trigger: the instant the stem moves upward by even 0.1mm, the key registers as released.
